Tomorrow is Spring Pictures. Students may dress up. Also, students can either take their picture individually or with their siblings. Please turn in the Picture Day order form so we know which option you are choosing.
This week we have been getting ready for Terra Nova tests by taking practice tests and discussing various testing strategies. The Terra Nova is a state standardized test that focuses on Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies, which will take place next week. Today I sent home a paper explaining Terra Novas and how to prepare for them. I told students that they can't study for these tests. It tests what they know already and the best way to get ready for the test is by making sure your brain is ready to go! Getting a good night sleep, eating breakfast, and believing in yourself are the keys to success! :-) Please take a few moments to write an encouraging letter to your child and remind them not to stress about this test!
Lastly, the students received their Reconciliation books yesterday. We have began to prepare for the sacrament, which they will receive next month. Reconciliation is asking God for forgiveness for our sins. If your child is not baptized, please contact the office or rectory as soon as possible to make arrangements. It is necessary that the child be baptized, in order to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation.
