This week, we began using Class Dojo, which is also used in other classes in our school. Through this website/app, students can receive or lose points throughout the day based on their behavior. Students can earn points for being on task, helping others, solving problems in a positive way, participating during class, and being bucket fillers. This app also allows parents to see how their child is doing, receive updates, and provide an easy way for parent-teacher communication. Today you will receive a letter explaining how to create an account.

On Friday, students are able to wear their costumes to school. They can wear a little make-up and gyms shoes, but NO weapons! We will have a classroom Halloween party. We will watch the Book of Life, pass out candy, and do some activities/crafts. We have 18 students in our class. Just a reminder we have a peanut allergy, so NO PEANUTS please!
